This t-shirt is for an AM radio station for ,my youth. I like the graphics. The shirt got to me three days after I ordered it. That was fast.
WISM-AM 1480 was a longtime Madison radio station dating back to the 1940s. For decades, music lovers tuned into WISM-AM 1480 to hear their favorite Top 40 songs. In the late 1960s and 1970s, the station reached what may have been its peak of popularity as audiences enjoyed the crazy antics of on-air personalities such as Clyde Coffee, Charlie Simon and Jonathan Little. As listeners moved to the FM dial, so too did WISM, which eventually switched to an adult contemporary format in the 1980s and became the ever popular “Magic 98.”
100% combed and ringspun cotton, preshrunk, 4.2 oz. Super soft with a fashion fit.
Childhood memories racing back - summer dusk and sitting on our banana-seat bikes with the big V handles, listening to the tinny sound of a friend's AM transistor radio. All captured in a soft, comfortable t-shirt with the same fine quality of all Bygone Brands' work. Another classic for my collection!
