I gave this as a gift. The orange is awesome and the logo jumps out at you. Very soft. The shirt lead to a lot of stories about the old restaurant.
The Parkmoor was St. Louis' first drive-in restaurant, opening in 1930 at Big Bend Boulevard and Clayton Road. Local residents loved the rich, hearty food, the iconic orange rooftop and the famed carhops who hurried meals to eager diners. The Parkmoor quickly expanded into a chain with at least six area restaurants, but by the early 1970s, the tide had turned and most had closed. Happily, the original Parkmoor location held on for nearly three more decades before finally closing in 1999.
100% combed and ringspun cotton, preshrunk, 4.2 oz. Super soft with a fashion fit. See Sizing Chart for best fit size. See more about the tees we use.
This shirt brought back alot memories. Grew up in rockford. It was a father's day present.
The orange is AWESOME. It is very bright, but not neon. The t-shirt looks almost identical to the picture shown. The orange comes through the white a little more than shown, but that just adds to the throw-back. This will be a gift, so I cannot comment on fit or washing. But, I plan to order one for myself now!
I have ordered from Bygone Brands twice. Both times delivery was fast and the shirts were perfect. Great fitting and the shirts are of high quality and the designs flawless. Love the product and the customer service. Thanks for a great product.
I bought this shirt for my sister-in-law who has grear memories of cruising Clayton Road to the Parkmoor. She is delighted. Well made shirt with good color and distinctive printing.
My shirt arrived promptly after I ordered it. I opened the package to discover a hight quality T shirt in a great color with a fantastic and cleaver graphic on the front. I literally received dozens of compliments on my shirt!
This may be one of the best gifts I've ever purchased. The shirt was very nice looking, not some cheap low rent import. The 'ParkMoor' graphic was clean, crisp and 100% accurate. The recepient took one look, a smile came to her face and a tear came to her eye. That was a priceless reaction. Other people immediately asked 'how can I get one?". Growing up in St. louis means you have a heritage of iconic brands that are an integral part of your DNA. Bygone Brands really captured it.
High quality shirt for 18 bucks - good fabric weight and the screenprint, while intended to appear distressed, is still vibrant and intact through heavy use and washing.
