Oar Folkjokeopus was a popular spot in the Minneapolis area from 1973 until 2001. Oar Folk was the only store in the area that sold punk rock records in the 1970’s. This made it a favorable place for local band members in that genre to hang out at like Hüsker Dü and The Replacements.
