Great shirt! The t-shirt fabric is the softest I can remember on a new t-shirt. As a collector, I see A lot of prints and decals. This shirt is truly the good stuff and will last decades.
Geri’s Hamburgers was a Rockford-based fast food chain with more than a dozen stores across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin at its peak, including at least six in the Rockford area and two in Madison. Geri’s was similar in style to the early McDonald’s restaurants. They had little or no inside seating and were geared towards fast take-out service. First opening in 1962, there were at least 13 Geri's locations by 1980. In 1981, the Geri’s corporation folded, but several stores continued to operate independently. The last Geri’s was in Beloit, Wisconsin and closed in 1999.
52% combed and ring-spun cotton 48% polyester, preshrunk, 4.2 oz. Super soft with a fashion fit.
A very nice t-shirt and the logo was very nice also. I love it!!
I ordered the 2xl because it was the largest size offered, but It's too small. I gave it to my wife and it fits her well, only slightly big. She typically wears a large.
Geri's T-shirts are very nostalgic - a great reminder of your youth!
Everything went well, but I did have one issue with the material for the shirt, It just seemed a little bit flimsy.
I love this t-shirt! But, compared to other shirts in this size, it seems a bit tight.
Geri's was a family favorite growing up in the 60's in Rockford. This shirt makes me happy! The style, fit, color, quality and logo on my women's long sleeve top are perfect!
Received a lot of compliments on my t shirt
This was ordered as a gift for someone who worked at Geri's Burgers around 45 years go. He loved the gift. I haven't gotten feedback on how well it fits, but it seemed to be high quality, and the packaging was done very nicely (wooden nickle, plastic wrapped with a brand label, a postcard, and a decal). Good gift!
I live in Victorville CA and got this shirt as a Bday this shirt present I grew up with the guys whose Father founded Geris in the 1950s Gene Hawker and Richard Simonovich Geris is for Gend and Richard how fun
Great product. Quick delivery.
The Geri's logo shirt is high quality, carefully placed, printed and of overall higher quality than similar products. I'm extremely pleased. I will continue to recommend Bygone to others as the overall experience is among the best I've had from a online vendor!
Was very impressed and have received alot great comments i plan on buying in future
The only thing that would make this t-shirt 5 stars is if it were offered in a heavier fabric t-shirt. The design is 5 stars. the shirt itself, 3 stars. PLEASE offer this, and ALL your designs, in sweatshirts.
Geri's in Beloit, WI closed in 1995 due to a road construction that affected the business very badly. I was the last independent owner at that time. Bought it in 1992 until I closed it down.
We purchased this shirt for my father-in-law. He was very excited to receive it. He said it seemed like great quality and is a fun shirt. He even got comments when he wore it out and about. I had made a mistake when ordering and the customer service was great. Thanks for a fun product!
It's a good quality shirt for the price. The print looks great, good quality as well. I wish they would tell you the fit though, I like fitted shirts and the large fits bigger than larges I normally buy. I like the shirt, just wish I had a medium.
As soon as I saw this shirt, I had to order one for my brother and one for me right away. Who doesn't love that little hamburger dude? Print quality is fantastic, shirt quality is excellent, fit is great, and the piece de resistance was the Bygone tag made from a pog. Can't wait to go back to Beloit to show it off and make everyone wonder where I got it.
I like the image very much, nice solid printing, but I think the shirt runs small, maybe should've ordered an XXL, or if you offered a XL tall.
This Geri's shirt got immediate cheers from those who grew up in Janesville or Beloit.
I ordered my Geri's T-Shirt Saturday afternoon and it was waiting for me in todays mail. You can't beat service like that anywhere! Wish Geri's was still around ... I liked it better than the Golden Arches. The one in Freeport closed in 1974.
I had to come to the website to order a Geri's t-shirt for my sister. I wore mine while on a family trip to Canada and my sister told me to give it to her! As soon as I returned I ordered it. Everyone who sees it wants one too so I posted the purchase on Facebook. It looks completely authentic and since it's seen a couple of washings I can say it is made of sturdy material. Thanks, Keith!
I loved the shirt, brought back childhood memories. I would of liked Rockford, IL somewhere on the shirt: small print on a sleeve maybe.
Great idea! Brings back memories to all. One guy thought it was a relic, said "do you know what that's worth?" I laughed and said, yes, $18.00!
I love this shirt. Everyone that knows Geris thinks it's a relic. Best buy in a longtime!!!
I wore my Geri's T to the City Market and had over a dozen people stop and ask about it. One guy wanted to buy it off my back!
