Geri's Hamburgers T-shirt

$18.00

Product Description

Geri’s Hamburgers was a Rockford-based fast food chain with more than a dozen stores across northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin at its peak, including at least six in the Rockford area and two in Madison. Geri’s was similar in style to the early McDonald’s restaurants. They had little or no inside seating and were geared towards fast take-out service. First opening in 1962, there were at least 13 Geri's locations by 1980. In 1981, the Geri’s corporation folded, but several stores continued to operate independently. The last Geri’s was in Beloit, Wisconsin and closed in 1999.

  1. Great print, brings back memories

Posted by Edgar on 16th Feb 2014

It's a good quality shirt for the price. The print looks great, good quality as well. I wish they would tell you the fit though, I like fitted shirts and the large fits bigger than larges I normally buy. I like the shirt, just wish I had a medium.

  2. Great shirt, great memories!

Posted by Kim on 16th Jan 2014

As soon as I saw this shirt, I had to order one for my brother and one for me right away. Who doesn't love that little hamburger dude? Print quality is fantastic, shirt quality is excellent, fit is great, and the piece de resistance was the Bygone tag made from a pog. Can't wait to go back to Beloit to show it off and make everyone wonder where I got it.

  3. cool image

Posted by David Van Pernis on 13th Dec 2013

I like the image very much, nice solid printing, but I think the shirt runs small, maybe should've ordered an XXL, or if you offered a XL tall.

  4. Great Nostalgia For Southern Wisconsin Boomers

Posted by Unknown on 30th Oct 2013

This Geri's shirt got immediate cheers from those who grew up in Janesville or Beloit.

  5. EXCELLENT Customer Service

Posted by Another Satisfied Customer on 26th Aug 2013

I ordered my Geri's T-Shirt Saturday afternoon and it was waiting for me in todays mail. You can't beat service like that anywhere! Wish Geri's was still around ... I liked it better than the Golden Arches. The one in Freeport closed in 1974.

  6. My sister wanted it off my back!

Posted by Janie Wilson-Cook on 12th Aug 2013

I had to come to the website to order a Geri's t-shirt for my sister. I wore mine while on a family trip to Canada and my sister told me to give it to her! As soon as I returned I ordered it. Everyone who sees it wants one too so I posted the purchase on Facebook. It looks completely authentic and since it's seen a couple of washings I can say it is made of sturdy material. Thanks, Keith!

  7. Shirt Review

Posted by Phyllis Lanier on 15th Jul 2013

I loved the shirt, brought back childhood memories. I would of liked Rockford, IL somewhere on the shirt: small print on a sleeve maybe.

  8. Memories

Posted by Unknown on 4th Jul 2013

Great idea! Brings back memories to all. One guy thought it was a relic, said "do you know what that's worth?" I laughed and said, yes, $18.00!

  9. LOVE IT!!

Posted by Unknown on 20th Jun 2013

I love this shirt. Everyone that knows Geris thinks it's a relic. Best buy in a longtime!!!

  10. Mr. Popular

Posted by Barry on 20th Jun 2013

I wore my Geri's T to the City Market and had over a dozen people stop and ask about it. One guy wanted to buy it off my back!
